Evening Activities

During the summer term, Year 2 pupils are invited to join in with some of the after school activities available to Stobo pupils which run from 15.50 - 16.45. The children would still attend Enrichment 1 in Jerningham first and are able to choose one of the below options. Monday night's options include: Dance Fit with Nicole Frost (this has a £3.00 charge each week which is added to your fee note), Football training with Matty Moor Art Explorers with Mrs Skeen If you would like your Year 2 child to attend one of these activities, please email Mrs Bullen and Mrs Maddock to let them know which one.

In our Influential People Club, children will learn about amazing people from the past and present who have helped change the world. We will explore artists, scientists, leaders and everyday heroes through stories, pictures, games and creative activities. The club helps children understand how kindness, bravery and good ideas can make a difference — and encourages them to believe that they can too!

Get ready to bat, run and score in our fun-filled Mini Rounders Club! Perfect for Early Years and KS1, this exciting after school club introduces children to rounders in a playful and accessible way. With simplified games, fun challenges and lots of encouragement, children will learn how to hit the ball, run between bases and work as a team. Each session focuses on building confidence, coordination and teamwork through active play and friendly games—making sure everyone feels included and has a great time. Join us for plenty of laughs, lots of running, and a brilliant introduction to a classic team game!

Following on from the ongoing success of Dance Fit last year, Nicole Frost returns after her maternity leave to lead this enrichment. Dance Fit is a fun easy-to-follow dance workout to a wide range of music. The routines consist of dance, toning and combat moves. Disco lights and props will also be used in some sessions. As well as learning routines from Nicole participants will get a chance to choreograph their own routines using a variety of fun methods. To cover Nicole's costs, there will be a charge of £32 for the eight sessions up to the end of the Summer term; this will be added to your Fee Note.

Junior football enrichment is open to both boys and girls in J3 to J6 offering training for skills and games. This enrichment will be outside so please bring / wear appropriate footwear and clothing.


Mr Moor

Step into a world of colour, creativity, and imagination in our KS2 After School Art Club! This term, young artists will explore the styles of famous artists and create their own exciting pastiches—artworks inspired by the techniques of well-known masters. From bold splatter painting in the style of Jackson Pollock to vibrant patterns inspired by Van Gogh and playful portraits influenced by Picasso, children will experiment with a range of materials and ideas. Each session encourages creativity, confidence, and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child loves to draw, paint, or try something new, this club is the perfect place to develop artistic skills while having fun with friends. Set in the school’s beautiful walled garden, this magical after school club for EYFS and KS1 invites children to stretch, balance and breathe in the fresh air. Each session helps build strength, coordination and focus, while also supporting wellbeing and mindfulness. Around the World Club – Pack your bags and grab your passport! Each week, children will “travel” to a new country, exploring fascinating cultures, cool traditions, music, food and everyday life from around the globe. Children will collect stamps in their own adventure passport as they learn about different places, try new tastes and discover what makes each country unique. This fun, interactive club builds curiosity, cultural awareness and a love of learning—no suitcase required!

Perfect for everyone, this relaxing and enjoyable after school club gives children the chance to create their very own work of art, one section at a time. Before the club begins, children should choose and purchase their own painting by numbers kit (for example, from Amazon), picking a design they love and feel excited to work on. Circle Songs and Traditional Games Club is a joyful, high-energy session full of music, movement and laughter! Children will learn and play classic circle songs, rhymes and traditional playground games while singing, clapping and moving together. Unwind, relax, and recharge at the end of the week! This Friday Mindfulness Club is a calm and welcoming space for pupils in Key Stage 2 to slow down and reset after a busy week. Through fun and engaging activities such as guided relaxation, breathing exercises, mindful colouring, gentle stretching, gratitude journaling, and quiet games, children will learn simple techniques to help them feel calm, focused, and confident. A perfect way to build wellbeing skills while enjoying a peaceful and positive end to the school week.

Children will explore a range of creative tools on Purple Mash, designing games, animations and digital projects, as well as trying out digital photography using school iPads to capture and edit their own images.
