| 5. Enrichment 1: Bat and Ball Skills Club (3.00pm - 3.50pm) | Get ready to swing into action! Bat & Ball Skills Club is a fun-filled, active after-school club designed to help children develop key physical skills while having a great time with friends. Each week, children will learn and practise the basics of striking, aiming, catching, throwing, and teamwork through a variety of exciting bat and ball games. Using soft, age-appropriate equipment, we’ll explore activities inspired by tennis, football, rugby, hockey, cricket, and more—building hand-eye coordination, balance and confidence in a supportive environment. Whether it’s hitting a target, batting a balloon or catching with a partner, every session is packed with movement, encouragement, and skill-building fun. | 6. Enrichment 2: Little Scientists Club (3.50pm - 4.45pm) | Curious minds wanted! Our Little Scientists Club is full of exciting experiments, fascinating discoveries and hands-on investigations that bring science to life. From creating fizzy reactions and exploring nature to making predictions and solving simple challenges, children will have fun asking questions, testing ideas and discovering how the world works. | 5. Enrichment 1: Construction Club (3.00pm - 3.50pm) | Welcome to Construction Club, where little builders with big imaginations come to life! Each week, children will explore a variety of construction materials—from LEGO and building blocks to recycled junk modelling and magnetic tiles—to design, build and problem-solve in creative and exciting ways. Whether they are building castles, bridges, rockets or entire cities, children will develop key skills like teamwork, spatial awareness, fine motor control and early engineering thinking. There’s no limit to what they can create when they work together and bring their ideas to life! With themed challenges, group projects and plenty of time for imaginative free building, Construction Club is the perfect blend of play, creativity, and purposeful learning. Each week, children will explore the art of collage using a wide range of materials from paper, fabric and foil to natural objects and recycled treasures. Through themed projects and imaginative free-making, children will learn how to layer, arrange and combine textures and shapes to express themselves artistically. | 6. Enrichment 2: Nature Explorers (3.50pm - 4.45pm) | Nature Explorers is the perfect outdoor adventure for curious young explorers who love being outside in all seasons! Each week, children will wrap up warm and head outdoors to ramble, explore and discover the natural world through seasonal nature hunts, outdoor investigations and nature-based activities. We’ll search for signs of animals and plants, explore textures, collect natural treasures and learn how wildlife and the environment change through the seasons. | 5. Enrichment 1: Six Bricks (3.00pm - 3.50pm) | Six Bricks is a fun, hands-on way to learn through play! Using sets of LEGO® or DUPLO® bricks in six bright colours, children take part in quick, exciting activities that spark curiosity and imagination. Each session helps children develop important skills such as memory, coordination, creativity and problem-solving, all while moving, building and having fun. Activities are carefully designed to match children’s interests and abilities, ensuring everyone feels confident, engaged and eager to join in. | 5. Enrichment 1: Story Escapes Book Club (3.00pm - 3.50pm) | Story Escapes Book Club – hop aboard Mabel and dive into a world of stories! Unwind after a busy school day by curling up with a great book in a cosy, relaxed setting—sometimes even on Mabel, our very own double-decker book bus. Children will explore new authors, rediscover old favourites and share stories together. Along the way, we may enjoy films linked to our chosen books, sample story-inspired foods and take part in fun, book-themed arts and crafts.
